What you actually need to know
We hit dates. No one is perfect, but, if we say we’ll be there on a date we’ll do everything we can to be there on that date – if we can’t make it, because we’ve been doing this long enough to know that life happens, we’ll work with you to make good. If the programme moves, tell us and we’ll re-plan.
We price properly. Fixed, itemised, with preparation and access requirements identified at tender rather than raised as a variation later. If the subfloor is going to be a problem, we’d rather flag it in the tender than find it on site.
We resource it. We put enough fitters on to finish the package inside the window, including weekends where the programme needs it.
One point of contact. Someone you can contact, who knows your job and can make a decision.
The paperwork you’ll ask for
All available on request and prepared ahead of works.
Job-specific RAMS. CSCS-carded operatives. DBS-checked fitters for education and healthcare work. Public and employers’ liability. SafeContractor accreditation. FIS membership. Site induction and permit compliance as your site requires. O&M information, product data sheets, warranties and maintenance guidance at handover.
If you have a prequalification process or a portal, send it over and we’ll get through it.
Ceilings and partitions from the same place
We’re the flooring division of Bolts of Hereford, a commercial fit-out contractor working across Herefordshire and Worcestershire since 1994. The wider business covers suspended ceilings, partitioning, hygienic wall cladding, fire doors, fire stopping and small decorations, and holds BM Trada QMark certification for fire door and fire stopping installation.
This allows us to offer just the flooring, or, we could offer you a selection of services from one contractor.

Education work is planned around holiday windows as standard. Healthcare and occupied commercial work is phased or out of hours.
Where we work
Hereford and Herefordshire, Worcestershire, south Shropshire, Gloucestershire and the Welsh borders. We’re based in Hereford, which for most of that patch means a site visit is the same week rather than the same month.
